Sunday 7 August and we dressed in our 'posh frocks' for the 'Vintage' afternoon tea at Haldenby Grange. After last year's 'Picnic' we were keen to sample the wonderful food again.

The weather was a little unsettled this time so the tables were set indoors. What a wonderful array of food was set before us. Dainty, tasty sandwiches, lovely home-cooked cakes, trifle and ice cream all washed down with copious cups of tea, and all served on beautiful china crockery.

It's amazing that we were able to walk out to our cars to go home with the amount of food we had all consumed.

If we keep on having all these outings involving food we will need to start an exercise class! But who cares when we're having such a good time.
